Here are our top 4 Oracle innovation takeaways that will bring significant impact to the financial services industry:

Cloud: while in 2016, Oracle CTO Larry Ellison, started his session a chatbots demonstration, this year, coincidence with Oracle revenue climbing 62 percent pushed by cloud-based applications, Larry Ellison emphasised Oracle bet on the cloud as the future placing much focus on the performance of their cloud platform.  Ellison particularly stressed that Oracle can demonstrate experience with traditional enterprise workload while other competitors can’t, predicting that Oracle can win the cloud wars against other the top contenders (Amazon, Microsoft, IBM and Google)

Blockchain Cloud Service and Security: the solution provides preassembled blockchain code that it is optimised for many standard business processes, including ERP transactions that traditionally require third-party validation.  In Larry Ellison’s keynote, cybersecurity was one of the key themes and with the growth in blockchain adoption, enterprises need more security and efficient digital transaction systems.
