The 2023 Asset Finance Connect Summer Awards strongly emphasised the principles of People, Planet, and Profit. It aimed to acknowledge organisations, teams, and individuals who demonstrated unwavering commitment to driving real change within the auto, equipment, and asset finance sector. These awards also recognised emerging talent and future leaders who are set to impact the industry significantly.
A Night of Celebration
During a warm and delightful summer evening, attendees enjoyed delicious food and music entertainment. The event commenced with the highly anticipated launch of the 2023 AF50 UK rankings, revealing the top 50 auto and equipment finance firms ranked by outstanding. Accompanying the AF50 awards were honours for the largest lending firms, fastest-growing businesses, and highest new AF50 entrant.
As the asset finance landscape evolves, new award categories were introduced to acknowledge remarkable employers, lenders, brokers, and those who have made extraordinary contributions to social and environmental causes within the industry.
The Lifetime Achievement Award was bestowed upon Bruce Nelson, a prominent figure in the asset finance industry for nearly five decades. His passion for the sector and a deep dedication to helping others have left an indelible mark, reshaping the asset finance landscape for the better.
